SAN DIEGO and PHILADELPHIA, Sept. 23, 2024 -- BioAtla, Inc. (“BioAtla”) (Nasdaq: BCAB), a global clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on the development of Conditionally Active Biologic (“CAB”) antibody therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumors, and Context Therapeutics Inc. (“Context”) (Nasdaq: CNTX), a biopharmaceutical company advancing T cell engaging (“TCE”) bispecific antibodies for solid tumors, today announced that the companies have entered into an agreement under which Context has obtained from BioAtla an exclusive, worldwide license to develop, manufacture and commercialize BA3362, BioAtla’s Nectin-4 x CD3 TCE. Context will assume and fund all development and commercialization activities.

BioAtla Announces Clinical Collaboration with Bristol Myers Squibb to Study Treatments for Solid Tumors

SAN DIEGO, Jan. 10, 2022 -- BioAtla, Inc. (Nasdaq: BCAB), a global clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on the development of Conditionally Active Biologic (CAB) antibody therapeutics, today announced that it has entered into a clinical collaboration with Bristol Myers Squibb (NYSE: BMY) to investigate BioAtla's two lead CAB-ADC candidates, BA3011 and BA3021, in combination with Bristol Myers Squibb's anti-PD-1 therapy Opdivo® (nivolumab).

Under the terms of the agreement, BioAtla and Bristol Myers Squibb will collaborate on clinical trials of separate combination therapies using two of BioAtla's Conditionally Active Biologic Antibody Drug Conjugates, BA3011 and BA3021, each in combination with Opdvio. BioAtla will serve as the study sponsor and will be responsible for costs associated with the trial execution. Bristol Myers Squibb will provide Opdivo clinical drug supply for the study.

BioAtla Announces Private Placement of 2.7 Million Shares

SAN DIEGO, Sept. 29, 2021 -- BioAtla, Inc. (Nasdaq: BCAB), a global clinical-stage biotechnology company focused on the development of Conditionally Active Biologic (CAB) antibody therapeutics, today announced that it has entered into stock purchase agreements with a group of institutional investors in connection with a private placement of its common stock. The Company will issue 2.7 million shares of common stock for a purchase price of $28 per share. The transaction is expected to result in gross proceeds to the Company of $75.0 million, before deducting placement agent fees and other offering expenses. The Company plans to use the net proceeds from the private placement primarily to advance clinical development, medical affairs and commercial preparation, and for general corporate purposes.

BioAtla Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering

SAN DIEGO, Dec. 15, 2020 -- BioAtla, Inc. (Nasdaq: BCAB), a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company developing a novel class of highly specific and selective antibody-based therapeutics for the treatment of solid tumor cancer, today announced the pricing of its initial public offering of 10,500,000 shares of common stock at a public offering price of $18.00 per share. All of the shares of common stock are being offered by BioAtla. The shares of common stock are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq Global Market on December 16, 2020 under the ticker symbol "BCAB." The gross proceeds of the offering, before deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and other offering expenses payable by BioAtla, are expected to be approximately $189.0 million. The offering is expected to close on December 18, 2020, subject to the satisfaction of customary closing conditions. In addition, BioAtla has granted the underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 1,575,000 shares of common stock at the initial public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.

BioAtla Raises $72.5 Million In Series D Financing

The financing was led by Soleus Capital and joined by several new investors including HBM Healthcare Investments as co-lead, Cormorant Asset Management, Farallon Capital, Pappas Capital, funds managed by Janus Henderson, Boxer Capital, and one other institutional investor. Current investor Pfizer Ventures, the venture capital arm of Pfizer Inc. (NYSE: PFE), also participated in the financing.
